一天狂瀉30次成紙片人..竟患這病

一名50歲林先生經常腹痛、腹瀉、拉血便，嚴重時一天最高拉肚子近30次，導致他骨瘦如材，不僅完全無法工作，也難以開車出遠門，毫無生活品質可言，就醫確診罹患潰瘍性結腸炎。起初他靠傳統類固醇治療，但效果不佳，之後透過生物製劑治療，初次使用症狀立即獲得改善，從原本一天拉近30次，變成一天拉2至3次，讓患者如獲新生，終於可以「瀉停封」了。

許樹湖介紹，所謂「生物製劑」是透過生物科技的技術來研發的抗體藥物，可以針對抑制特定的發炎因子來治療免疫失調的疾病，以林先生為例，可抑制患者體內過多的抗腫瘤壞死因子，幫助腸道黏膜癒合，降低發炎反應，讓患者免於手術治療的風險及出現併發症。
許樹湖建議，另外潰瘍性結腸炎患者飲食應以清淡、易消化為主，並少量多餐，採高熱量、高蛋白的原則，若發現特定食物容易造成症狀加劇，則應避免食用；此外，患者應遵照醫師指示按時服藥，切勿自行停藥或減藥，平時應保持愉快心情，以免症狀加劇。
